Man wounds brother in taking pictures in Jurupa Valley, Sheriff’s Department says

A 21-year-old Jurupa Valley resident was arrested on suspicion of tried homicide after he shot his brother on Tuesday, April 23, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department stated.

The assault occurred round 8 p.m. within the 5000 block of Martin Street in Jurupa Valley. A caller to 911 stated a person had shot one other man. The males had been brothers, stated Sgt. Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez, a sheriff’s spokeswoman.

The shooter had fled by the point deputies arrived. About an hour after the taking pictures, deputies discovered 21-year-old Fernando Orozco close by and arrested him on suspicion of tried homicide. He was being held at Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside in lieu of $1 million bail, jail information present.

The sufferer was hospitalized and his very important indicators had been secure, Brito-Gonzalez stated.

The motive was unknown, she stated.
