A person was arrested Sunday, April 21, on suspicion of breaking into Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass’s house within the Hancock Park neighborhood, authorities stated.

Around 6:40 a.m., the intruder broke into the Getty House — the official residence of the mayor of Los Angeles, situated at 605 South Irving Boulevard — stated Deputy Mayor of Communications Zach Seidl. Bass and her household have been house on the time of the break-in, however have been unhurt.

It was unclear if something was taken; and if the break-in focused Bass or was random.

“The mayor is grateful to LAPD for responding and arresting the suspect,” Seidl stated.

The man was taken into custody with out incident, based on the Los Angeles Police Department.
