Man shot and killed in Victorville after reportedly being struck by 2 autos



A pedestrian was shot and killed on Thursday, May 9, after authorities obtained a report of two autos hitting the pedestrian in Victorville, San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department officers mentioned.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report Thursday {that a} pedestrian had been hit by two autos close to Mariposa Road and Locust Avenue in Victorville. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the person. A “deadly power encounter” occurred, and the pedestrian was killed on the scene, authorities mentioned.

Details relating to why the pedestrian was shot and circumstances surrounding his being struck by two autos weren’t instantly out there.

“The investigation is ongoing. Nothing additional,” mentioned Gloria Huerta, spokeswoman for the sheriff’s division.
