Ukraine captures 2 North Korean troopers in Kursk, Zelenskyy says

The two North Korean troopers are wounded and are receiving “essential medical help,” Zelenskyy stated in a submit on Telegram. The males are within the custody of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Kyiv, he stated.

The SBU stated the prisoners signify “irrefutable proof of the participation of the DPRK within the Russian struggle in opposition to our state,” in a separate Telegram submit.

“The prisoners don’t communicate Ukrainian, English or Russian, so communication with them takes place via Korean translators in cooperation” with South Korean officers, the SBU stated.

Zelenskyy stated in his submit that capturing the North Korean troops was not a easy operation. ‘This activity was not a simple one: normally Russians and different North Korean troopers end off their wounded and do the whole lot to make sure that no proof of the participation of one other state — North Korea — within the struggle in opposition to Ukraine is preserved,” he stated.
