The two-day high-level occasion will happen on the Monastery of San Nicolò in Venice-Lido (Italy) and collect, amongst a number of members, key MEPs and European Commissioner, Nobel Peace Prize laureates and representatives of worldwide organisations.
Following on from last year’s first-ever conference, this 12 months’s version will see members come collectively throughout three panels to debate the newest developments associated to kids’s rights all around the world. The convention is collectively organised by the European Parliament and the Global Campus of Human Rights.

This 12 months’s members embrace the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola (video message), in addition to the President of the Global Campus of Human Rights, Veronica Gomez, the Executive Director of the Right Livelihood Foundation Ole von Uexküll, European Commissioner for International Partnerships Jutta Urpilainen (video message), the Chairs of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, David McAllister, and Subcommittee on Human Rights, Maria Arena, Sakharov Prize and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Denis Mukwege, and several other Members of the European Parliament.
The themes of the three foremost panels are “Children behind bars”, “Children affected by armed battle and violence” and “Youth as drivers of change”.
