We are happy to announce that registration is now open for our 2023 retreat for professionals concerned in mindfulness-based approaches.Mindfulness and Liberation—Foundations of Mindfulness-Based Approaches: Insight Meditation Retreat shall be taught by Akincano and Christiane Wolf, and assisted by Thimo Wittich January 8–14, 2023.
This in-person retreat is particularly designed for professionals concerned in mindfulness-based modalities. Educators, clinicians and researchers engaged in educating or coaching in mindfulness-based approaches are welcome to attend.
The course is an invite to increase and deepen private expertise of perception meditation, which is rooted within the cultivation of mindfulness. In the corporate of friends and colleagues, retreatants will discover the Four Applications of Mindfulness as taught within the early Buddhist Satipaṭṭhāna Teachings, the foundational teachings of all up to date mindfulness-based purposes. These teachings provide a path to well-being, freedom and compassion, and encourage the mixing of contemplative knowledge into the material of our day by day lives.
The academics of this retreat are all skilled meditation academics and concerned in coaching mindfulness-based professionals or in educating mindfulness.
Each day will provide a sustained schedule of guided and unguided meditation apply, conferences with the academics, talks and reflections, all inside an atmosphere of silence. A familiarity with formal meditation apply is assumed.
