Queens Center Mall evacuated after shoppers pepper-sprayed

Part of the Queens Center Mall was evacuated early Saturday after someone showered innocent shoppers with pepper spray, police said.

No injuries were reported from the pepper spray, which NYPD said was discharged inside the mall near Macy’s.

Regular operations had resumed at the mall by 12:35 p.m., according to a police spokeswoman.

Police have yet to arrest or identify whoever unleashed the pepper spray on the concourse.

Queens Center Mall is located at 9015 Queens Boulevard.
