An early morning armed carjacking in Philadelphia involving a mom and her teenage daughter was caught on video, authorities stated.
The pair had been leaving their residence round 6:20 a.m. on Sept. 19 after they had been ambushed by a carjacker with a gun, the Philadelphia Police Department stated in a video launched Monday asking for assist in figuring out the suspect.
“It seems he was laying in wait,” police Capt. John Ryan advised FOX Philadelphia. “He rode a bicycle up there, left the bicycle behind, we now have that.”
The suspect took the lady’s purse as they had been each stepping into the automobile. They are heard on security video screaming in concern.
The lady’s Hyundai Santa Fe was taken from a driveway and nobody was harm, police stated.
“Our advice is all the time not to withstand, and never get yourselves harm in these conditions,” Ryan stated. “It’s not price you being injured or harm worse than that.”
No arrests have been made within the case, police stated.
