NYC subway shove sufferer, who now wants spinal surgical procedure, saved asking witness: ‘Am I going to die?’

A girl who was randomly shoved into the side of a moving subway car puzzled if she was “going to die” after the terrifying assault — which put her within the hospital in determined want of spinal surgical procedure, police and a witness stated Monday.

Nancy Marrero, 45, of Long Island City, stated she noticed the sufferer fixing her hair whereas strolling on the platform of the Lexington Avenue-63rd Street station round 6 a.m. Sunday when a person all of a sudden grabbed her head and floor it into the aspect of the departing practice.

The assailant didn’t look homeless or soiled, Marrero stated. And the assault left her deeply shaken.
