A rogue motorcyclist crashed on the Rockaway Beach boardwalk Monday afternoon and left his passenger — who was flung from the bike — to die on the bottom, cops say.
The 25-year-old bicycle owner was illegally driving a 2022 Qipai Hunier Dirt Bike westbound on the boardwalk close to Beach forty seventh Street simply after 3 p.m. when he misplaced management, putting a bench and a male pedestrian, cops stated.
His passenger, David Molina, 26, was ejected from the bike and hurled to the bottom throughout the crash — struggling extreme head trauma, authorities stated.
The driver, whom cops didn’t establish, then fled on foot, forsaking the mortally injured Molina, cops stated.
Molina, of Cedarhurst, was pronounced lifeless on the scene by EMS, police stated.
His relationship to the driving force was not instantly identified.


The 55-year-old pedestrian struck by the motorcyclist was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center with minor accidents, cops stated.
The driver was nonetheless within the wind Tuesday, and police stated the investigation is ongoing.
An indication alongside the boardwalk signifies that no motorized or electrical bikes, scooters or ATVs are permitted.
