Monterey Gin’s Communicates Quality Through Thoughtful Design

Library Design Studio labored with Monterey Gin to assist the model launch a packaging system that leans into the nostalgia of a vacation tour. The packaging system highlights components from the Mediterranean aperitif house whereas showcasing the Cornish coast’s luxurious facet. The artwork deco particulars and a contemporary, recycled glass bottle create a stunning juxtaposition, permitting the model’s narrative to come back to life.

Library introduced the relaxed, nostalgic vacation environment of the Cornish Riviera to the Helford River Distillery’s award-winning, unique, small-batch Gin. Nudging the Gin market in a brand new route, our design takes cues from the basic Mediterranean aperitif world, evoking the identical laid-back, journey and luxurious of the Cornish coast with a refined nod to the decadent artwork deco period, the place the Gin cocktail originated.

We used a canvas of uncooked supplies to speak a brand new sense of high quality by way of consideration. From the 100% recycled glass bottle to the pure cork and gold metallic watch strap closure, the bottle tells a narrative of river-combing and sustainability. The model world brings the story to life, pairing serene, pure scenes of the Helford River, with vibrant, classic journey poster-inspired botanical illustrations.
