The following is a letter accompanying at this time’s launch of the “Review of Safeguarding and Child Protection in ISKCON Mayapur and Vrindavan colleges” Report
Dear Devotees,
Please settle for our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
In pursuance of our dedication to dealing robustly with youngster safety, in December 2022, the GBC Body licensed an unbiased overview of the governance and management within the Mayapur and Vrindavan gurukulas. The report was submitted to us in February, and since then, we now have met the overview staff members to debate their findings. We now share this report with you in its authentic and full type.
The report is candid in its critique of our governance and management at faculty, regional, and worldwide ranges. We are making this report public within the spirit of transparency and to reassure devotees that we’re treating this matter very critically.
We will now be working diligently with the overview staff and others to coordinate the specifics of what is going to represent “Phase Two” and transfer
issues ahead with the implementation of the report suggestions. We do not but have an outlined timescale for Phase Two, however we count on that the total course of can be delivered by the March 2024 GBC Annual General Meeting in Sridham Mayapur. We acknowledge that devotees all over the world will be eager to be stored knowledgeable as issues proceed, and we’ll endeavor to present updates every time sensible.
