Man stabbed in broad daylight assault on NYC practice: cops


A person stabbed a fellow straphanger who had advised him to settle down throughout a broad-daylight Brooklyn subway journey, authorities stated early Tuesday. 

The 49-year-old sufferer confronted a stranger who he believed was talking too loudly — presumably whereas on the cellphone — on board a northbound No. 2 practice approaching the Bergen Street station in Prospect Heights round 12:40 p.m. Monday, cops stated.

The comment riled up the person who had been absorbed in dialog, police stated.

He pulled out a knife and stabbed the rider within the again, cops stated.

The 49-year-old sufferer was stabbed by one other man who he’d requested to settle down onboard a No. 2 practice at Bergen Street Monday afternoon, cops stated.

The sufferer was taken to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in steady situation, with a puncture wound. 

The assailant fled out of the station on foot. 

Cops launched surveillance photographs of the suspect leaving the station.

He remained within the wind Tuesday morning.
