The Whallonsburg Grange will proceed their Fall Lyceum Collection with “The usage of Maps to Navigate Area and Position on Lake Champlain” on Tuesday, October fifth.
On this program Ryan Mitchell will discover how maps created with a variety of applied sciences had been used to inform the tales of our courting with Lake Champlain since its earliest exploration.
Mitchell manages communications and publications for the Lake Champlain Basin Program. He occupied with ancient geography as a graduate scholar, and cartography and Geographic Knowledge Methods had been a part of his paintings since.
