On May ninth, a gaggle of 9 Buddhist monks from Vietnam visited Govinda’s Restaurant in Tucson for lunch. While on a tour of North America, these conventional vegetarian monks discovered the temple’s restaurant through Google, which rated it the #1 Vegan/Vegetarian restaurant within the metropolis.  This touring band was aware of Govinda’s eating places by means of their worldwide travels.  They appreciated the fantastic prasada, requested considerate questions concerning the philosophy of Krishna Consciousness, and even left with a number of of Srila Prabhupada’s books.

Govinda’s in Tucson has been serving connoisseur vegetarian delicacies since 1992, and is a part of the welcoming ISKCON Tucson temple group.  It’s usually known as an oasis within the desert with its inviting indoor/out of doors seating, unique birds, koi pond, waterfalls, and fountains.
