Diana’s Bananas Gets A Sweet New Look Designed By Interact

Boulder-based Interact is again once more with a splendidly crisp packaging design system for Diana’s. The chocolate-covered frozen banana model required a rebrand, and Interact’s new design takes inspiration from the banana’s pure curves and rounded edges. Even extra, the colour palette is pleasant in nature, highlighting the sweetness of the model’s merchandise inside.

We’ve gone bananas for Diana’s. A deliciously dipped and dripped frozen banana that invitations you to share in extraordinary wholesomeness. Feel-good gasoline that powers you thru the workday, exercises, and homework. It seems like a deal with, as a result of it’s.

When the snack turned in style throughout Illinois road festivals, the Diana’s group knew their creation had mass a-peel. While striving to make the world’s greatest chocolate-dipped frozen banana, they grew rapidly and their packaging turned disconnected. We had been tasked with redesigning the packaging for higher model recognition and fairness, bringing all of the packs into alignment, and setting the model up for fulfillment because it expands its innovation providing.

Diana’s believes that embracing imperfections and variations makes our world higher. Their bananas are rescued from getting tossed apart for being oddballs, misfits, or simply funny-looking. Always healthful. Sometimes totally different. Never boring. We knew we wanted to make the packaging enjoyable, cravable, and sustainable. Adding in a banana pun wherever we might helped to reinforce the model persona. Our core concept when creating the brand new Diana’s model was to make it genuinely joyful.

We recrafted the wordmark to look ap-peel-ing by creating banana-like curves and rounded corners to characterize the model in its pleasant and timeless nature. We needed to maintain the smile-like nature of the unique emblem so we set it in a slight arch to resemble a smile.

Our sort system was paying homage to the earlier design, we simply made it work tougher and smarter. Diana’s model font suite is supposed to be daring, but approachable and pleasant. Each typeface has been fastidiously chosen to work together with the opposite fonts to create a model appear and feel that’s higher than the sum of its components. We used a mixture of Kefir and Genty Regular. Genty was used to emphasise sure phrases in a phrase. We added a burst icon as a holding form we use on our front-of-pack to assist our claims pop and make them extra enjoyable. Inspired by a banana sticker, we would like these to really feel considerably caught on and fewer organized.

Our colours had been vivid and poppy, made to leap off the shelf. Milk (Blue) & Cream (Off-white) are our core model colours. Each taste additionally has an ownable colour that helps to differentiate them on shelf. We needed the images to extend style attraction and indulgence in a central hero’d manner. Our product images all the time exhibits our bananas with a chew out of them and items of the respective taste elements gently surrounding. We needed the chew to allude to the imperfect bananas that they use to make the product. The sides and again of the pack had been meant to be as easy and direct as attainable.

New peel. Same bananas. Working on this mission was a complete bunch of enjoyable and genuinely joyful.
