Events in Ukraine are altering day by day, if not by the hour. Here are updates that ISKCON News has confirmed.
Devotees Among Those Cut Off in Mariupol
The direst scenario confronted by Ukrainian Krishna devotees could also be within the metropolis of Mariupol in southeastern Ukraine. “The devotees have been lower off,” reported Nirananjana Swami, ISKCON Governing Body Representative for Ukraine. “More than 100 fifty devotees have been compelled to go away their properties and group collectively in undisclosed areas for security; in the meantime, water and energy have been turned off within the metropolis for a number of days. It’s a determined scenario.” Devotees are reported to have taken shelter in 4 completely different areas. It is hoped {that a} humanitarian passageway might be opened quickly to assist the devotees, and different civilians, escape that metropolis. We request all devotees to hope for the victims of this battle, and particularly for the devotees of Mariupol.
