“Of course, we should always not harbour any illusions that becoming a member of the Eurozone alone will routinely enhance the competitiveness of the home economic system or increase our way of life. This just isn’t the case as a result of Croatia’s progress to any extent further doesn’t rely on the Germans, French and Italians, it is as much as us. … Croatia is becoming a member of the euro at a rare and tough second. The degree of inflation is unpredictable, the vitality disaster is destabilising the world and there’s no finish in sight to the war in Ukraine. That is why we are able to rejoice in the present day, however we now have to get to work tomorrow.”
