There was a sheepnapping in Aspen over the weekend.
One of hotspot Snow Lodge’s signature Scandinavian sheep sculptures, which we hear value 4 figures, was nabbed by an overzealous partier this weekend — who one way or the other walked off with the 4 legged, life-sized work.
A supply tells us that after the unmistakable object went lacking, the person didn’t go on the lamb. Instead, sightings of the wooly beast “began to pop up throughout city.”
One picture seen by Page Six exhibits an unidentified man simply casually strolling across the snowy Colorado city carrying the pilfered ewe.
Snow Lodge proprietor Jayma Cardoso tells us, “I saved receiving texts and DM’s saying ‘We noticed a person carrying your sheep.’”
We’re informed a number of good Samaritans set out on a search party to find the beloved fake creature.
And we additional hear that the alleged offender was caught when it was found he’d dropped the sheep at an area FedEx in an try and ship it again to his hometown.
A supply tells us Aspen police had been referred to as, and had been capable of intercept the sheep simply within the nick of time.
Cardoso tells us, “I had to offer a receipt to indicate proof of possession. We hope to have [the sheep] launched [from police custody] and residential with the remainder of his herd quickly.”
