Cathedral beams of sunshine to mark National Moment of Reflection

Three beams of sunshine will mission from Lichfield Cathedral to mark the National Moment of Reflection mourning the passing of the Queen.

The beams of sunshine will coincide with a vigil going down in entrance of the cathedral when candles will likely be gentle and prayers provided. 

During the vigil, the cathedral’s bells will toll 96 instances – one for annually of the late Queen’s life. 

The National Moment of Reflection will happen at 8pm on Sunday and be marked by a minute’s silence.

Churches and cathedrals throughout the nation will likely be holding companies of thanksgiving this weekend forward of the Queen’s state funeral on Monday. 

Coventry, Peterborough and Truro are among the many cathedrals holding vigils in remembrance of the Queen.

Many cathedrals have prolonged their opening hours so that individuals can are available and pray, replicate and signal a ebook of condolence.

Durham Cathedral has been lit purple every night because the passing of the Queen.
