Every 12 months, the competition of the blessing of fruits was held within the province of Mendoza, Argentina.
This is a conventional Christian competition, which grew to become a part of the protocol of the provincial state and has been celebrated since 1938, during which God is thanked for the crops.

Mendoza has had an Interreligious Council since roughly 1976, during which varied non secular leaders of various confessions got here collectively to present refuge to these exiled from Chile, as a result of navy coup led by Augusto Pinochet on September 11, 1973.
In 1982 Pope John Paul II visited Mendoza and thanked stated Council for its exemplary motion.

Since 2011 Baladeva das, director of communications for ISKCON Latin America, is a part of the Mendoza Interreligious Council, contributing from Vaisnavism the traditional knowledge of the Vedas, the attractive legacy of Srila Prabhupada to humanity.

In this version of The Blessing of the Fruits 2023, there was an inter-religious prayer of thanks and request during which at the start the conch is blown and the Maha Mantra Hare Krishna is sung, the shofar of the Jewish custom and the gong of the Buddhists. All this with the intention of creating a name to prayer.

It is necessary to notice that the non secular and creative spectacle is attended by greater than 15,000 individuals yearly and is televised all through Argentina on official tv and for the world on social networks.
