Basteja is a winter version of a novel coupage from Winnica Niemczanska that matches completely on the Christmas desk and through all winter evenings. Its title refers to one of many historic fortifications of the previous city of Niemcza, the place the winery is situated. Basteja, initially designed by Albrecht Dürer, is synonymous with power, safety and progress. All these references turned the idea for designing the illustration for this particular winter label.
